Service Projects
Overview:
LCCM's service projects lie at the core of our mission to promote healthcare equity and empower underserved communities. Through a range of initiatives, we provide our members with opportunities to engage directly with local populations by offering health education workshops, volunteer services, and outreach programs. These projects allow us to address pressing healthcare disparities while fostering leadership, collaboration, and a sense of responsibility in our members. By participating, students gain invaluable hands-on experience, build meaningful connections, and contribute to the well-being of those we serve. Together, we strive to make a tangible impact and advocate for a healthier, more equitable future.
Over the years, LCCM has initiated several service projects that have since grown into independent organizations. LCCM is proud to be the mother organization of these impactful initiatives and encourages everyone to get involved. Together, we can make a lasting difference in both the community and the future of healthcare.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
You must be trained to volunteer with every service project. Training is valid for one academic school year, and one will be hosted at an LCCM meeting at the beginning of fall quarter. Follow Project’s IG for further training dates.
